Ellen Elizabeth Engelman is starting a new career as a dog walker on the streets of Manhattan. She has an unusual ability, she can talk to her dog and his friends which helps when one of her canine friend’s human is found dead and he is missing. Ellie meets sexy NYPD Detective Sam Ryder and is immediately intrigued by him and while he is looking to solve the mystery of who killed Professor Albright, she is looking for the missing Buddy. With the help of her own pet, Rudy, Ellie is resolved to put a bite into both mysteries. This was a very enjoyable read and I enjoyed learning a little about the profession of dog walking.
