I had such a great time with Lalla, Caleb, Noah and Pearlie. This was a fun read that kept me entertained from beginning to end. I like that the drama took place in a different town which allowed all the lead characters to shine in doing what they do best, be it solving a murder mystery or taking care of one another. Pearlie was at her best providing some comedic interlude and I was happy with how the drama ended with new adventures for the gang. I can’t wait to read the next installment in the Lalla Bains saga.

If this latest Dead Red is as good as her other books, it’ll make a fun read.
This book sounds like something that my husband would especially would like to read. I have been told the books preceding this one were really good, so expect that this one is too. Looking forward to reading it myself.
