Kiki Lowenstein is invited to a Halloween Party at Detective Chad Detweiler’s parents’ farm. But mysterious happenings around St. Louis have everyone on edge–and Kiki has a close encounter that leaves a surprising clue behind!

When animals are found drained of blood, law officials are at a loss and everyone is on their guard with respect to their pets and livestock. Overworked and tired, Kiki had a close encounter of the worst kind. This was a very enjoyable Halloween story. My rating: 4 stars

    Wow! Sounds interesting. What would you say the tone of it is? More like horror, or more light and fun?
