My roommate and inn manager Georgia Carter

A dog Molly and cat Rufus – Georgia has a dog Ramos

I live in a cottage behind the inn that I own and Georgia runs

What is your favorite spot in your home?
The deck off the back of the cottage that overlooks the sea.

Favorite meal and dessert?
I love Georgia’s seafood lasagna – she has her own cooking show and is a genius in the kitchen

Do you have any hobbies?
Between my writing schedule, helping to run the inn, helping to solve local murders, and getting involved in the lives of most of my guests I’m pretty busy.

What is your favorite vacation spot?
Vacation? Who has time for a vacation?

What music do you listen to?
Sometimes I like mellow jazz in the background.

Do you have a favorite book?
As an author I have many favorite books – it really depends on my mood

What is your idea of a really fun time?
Relaxing in the garden with my large group of friends

If you were to write a memoir, what would you call it?
Maybe it had been insanity

Amateur or professional sleuth and whom do you work with?
Strictly amateur. I help theorize but I defer all the dangerous stuff to my boyfriend Officer Colt Wilder

In a few sentences, what is a typical day in your life like?
It depends. If I’m working on a book I’ll get up and head over to the inn to have breakfast with the guests after which time I’ll take the dogs for a long walk along the bluff before settling in for several hours of writing. If one of the guests has something really interesting going on – which they often do – I tend to become distracted by whatever is going on at the moment.
