This past weekend I attended the annual Bouchercon Convention which was held in Nashville, Tennessee. A good time was had by all and with two knee replacements, I walked a total of 27,900 steps, an average of 5,580 steps per day. Of course today, I’m feeling it.

Anyway…

The main event is when the Anthony awards are handed out. I was nominated with my friend, Kristopher Zgorski for our first published short story, TICKET TO RIDE that is featured in the “Happiness Is a Warm Gun: Crime Fiction Inspired by the Songs of The Beatles” edited by Josh Pachter.

And…

We won an Anthony Award For Best Short Story. To be honored by the Bouchercon community is a blessing and we are happy to accept this trophy.
