• Madrigals & Murder by Elizabeth Penney, the fourth book in the Cambridge Bookshop series, in which a bookseller must solve a murder related to a classic children’s book, a toy store, and an inheritance while juggling a busy holiday season and a sticky family situation. Coming in 2024.

• Trouble Island by Sharon Short, a mystery set in 1930 on a remote island in Lake Erie that is owned by a Prohibition gangster and occupied by an alleged murderer–she has been forced into hiding as the gangster’s wife servant, and she is plotting her escape just as the gangster, his cronies and an ice storm make unexpected landfall, for publication in fall 2024.
