I am thrilled to host the cover reveal for the fourth book in the “Cat Latimer” mystery series from Kensington, coming November 27, 2018.

Title: Slay In Character
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Author Website: lynncahoon.com
Book Synopsis
Staying in character can be murder when Cat Latimer and the members of her writers’ retreat head for a ghost town . . .
Cat and the members of her writers’ retreat have just arrived in Outlaw, Colorado, an “Old West” tourist town complete with inhabitants dressed up as famous figures from history. But this authentic slice of Americana takes a murderous turn when a college student masquerading as a 19th-century saloon girl becomes history herself.
Was she the intended target? Or did she take a hit meant for someone else? With a cast of suspects to choose from—including some notorious gunslingers and the sleazy town founders—Cat must unhorse the real culprit before a real-life ghost story is given a killer twist . . .
Tell us, have you even been to a ghost town? Leave a comment below for your chance to win a digital copy (Kindle or Nook) of Who Moved My Goat Cheese. The giveaway ends May 15, 2018. Good luck everyone!

Oooh wonderful another Cat Latimer to enjoy :D, I have never been to a ghost town, unless you count Eyam which closed itself off during the Black Death to try and halt the spread of the disease, and the village lost between a half and three quarters of the inhabitants!
Great cover!! I really love this series!!
I forgot to mention that I’ve never been to a ghost town but my friend visited one a few hours away and said it was so spooky they couldn’t stay for long!!
I have never been to a ghost town, but I’d probably get myself so freaked out over it that I’d see things that weren’t there!
Beautiful artwork on the cover! I love Lynn’s books and I am sure this one will be no exception!
To answer your question…I have never been to an “official” ghost town, but I remember my dad stopping for gas at a “town: that had 2 buildings. There was a gas station with an apartment over it, and a old long building that was divided into 3 or 4 living spaces-apartments? I believe the population sign said 10. We joked that that was probably before the majority moved away! We saw 3 people and 2 dogs!
I have been to a ghost town in AZ. I think the mine is real, but the rest of it looks like recreations.
Never been to a ghost town, but going with a group sounds like the way to do it! Can’t wait to see what Cat and the gang get up to in their visit!
Ghostly houses, yes. Ghost towns, no. Thanks for the review of this book & the giveaway.
Love this series. I went on a family vacation when I was a child, out West, and I think we went to a recreated ghost town. It must not have been very scary, because I don’t remember it all that well, which is probably a good thing.
There is a ghost town about 20 miles from our house — it is called Ashcroft and was an old miners’ town. It’s very well maintained and a really interesting spot to visit, but I haven’t seen any ghosts there! The cover of Slay in Character could very well have been taken in the Ashcroft saloon at its heyday ~
No, I haven’t, but it sounds intriguing.
I’ve never been to a ghost town.
I have been to Fayette, Michigan which is a ghost town. It’s an old iron ore mining town and is now a State park. It is right on the lake and is do peaceful and beautiful it’s hard to believe it could be a ghost town. Some of buildings and homes are still there and it’s a great place to visit.
I love the cover! And the story sounds fantastic. I’ve never been to a ghost town but it is on my bucket list of places to visit.
I have never been to a ghost town. The closest is a Pioneer Village.
I have never been to a ghost town but would like to. Love the cover.
I have been to several ghost towns, but sadly never seen any of the “tenants”. Thanks!
Only Calico….now that it is owned by Knotts, it’s well kept up…and very interesting.
No, I have never been to a ghost town. I would love to win this book!
We went to Jackson Hole one summer and stopped at an entire ghost town. Only interesting thing I saw was a kitten sleeping in a flower pot partially under the plants to keep cool, I guess. 😄
I have never been to a ghost town, but would love to visit one someday. They sound so interesting. The book sounds great and a lot of fun.
I have never been to a ghost town, but I think it might be fun! Love this series and excited to read the book!
love the book cover! I’ve never been to a ghost town but would love to visit one someday
I have been to the ghost town of Calico in Southern California. It is very well maintained, but I never saw any ghosts! lol Thanks for the chance.
I have never been to a ghost town. Cute cover and sounds like an interesting book
I’ve never been to a ghost town unless I include the city of Alton in Illinois where I was born. It has a lot of rumored establishments haunted by ghosts. A lot of rich history in that small city.
Haven’t been to a ghost town. Book sounds intriguing
I have never been to a ghost town, though have been in areas where there were a few dilapidated buildings and nothing else standing.
Awesome cover and I want to read this book!
