Release: February 26, 2019
Series: Hannah Swensen #23
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Not even Lake Eden’s nosiest residents suspected Hannah Swensen would go from idealistic newlywed to betrayed wife in a matter of weeks. But as a deadly mystery unfolds in town, the proof is in the pudding . . .
When The Cookie Jar becomes the setting of a star-studded TV special about movies filmed in Minnesota, Hannah hopes to shine the spotlight on her bakery—not the unsavory scandal swirling around her personal life. But that’s practically impossible with a disturbing visit from the shifty character she once believed was her one and only love, a group of bodyguards following her every move, and a murder victim in her bedroom. Now, swapping the crime scene in her condo for her mother Delores’ penthouse, Hannah and an old flame team up to solve a case that’s messier than an upended chocolate cream pie. As suspects emerge and secrets hit close to home, Hannah must serve a hefty helping of justice to an unnamed killer prowling around Lake Eden. . .before someone takes a slice out of her!
The publisher is giving away three copies of CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE MURDER. Leave a comment to be included in the giveaway. The book will be sent directly by the publisher. U.S. entries only, please. The giveaway ends March 26, 2019. Good luck everyone! Bonus question, what was the last pie you baked or ate?

I’m loving the Hannah Swensen Mystery series but I have a lot to catch up. I just started reading the series a few months back. The last pie I ate was EDWARDS HERSHEY’S Chocolate Crème Pie and the last pie I baked was apple several years ago. Our apple trees do not produce good apples anymore.
Would love to read this one.

Pumpkin Pie, baked and ate some!
I’ve read all of the Hannah Swenson mysteries. Looking forward to this one – guessing that the last couple were written to make us dislike the Ross character – looking for a positive resolution to this tangled web. Last pie I ate – couldn’t choose, so I had 1/4 apple crunch and 1/4 pumpkin creme!

My favorite series! I can’t wait wait to read what happens in Lake Eden this time.
I am having such a hard time realizing that I’ve already read 22 books in the Hannah Swensen series by Joanne Fluke and that #23 is ready for reading now. I don’t try to win a lot of books but this is one that I’d love to win as this was one of the first cozies that I became addicted to all those years ago!!
The last pie I made was two days ago and it was a fresh blueberry pie but I’ve also had a slice of lemon Meringue pie since then! Don’t judge me now! 😀
Thank you for the chance to enter this giveaway and the possibility to win. Thank you so much!!!

Such a fun series to read. I love watching it on Hallmark channel too. The last pie I baked was apple for Christmas dinner. My favorite pie is coconut cream, but I am the only one in my family who likes it so it’s a rare treat.
Sounds like a delicious read.
Wedding cake? Nah. We had three tiers of fruit pies. I got my husband’s attention originally for making pumpkin pies from scratch – starting with the pumpkin. A mystery of pie? Love it!
Last eaten: pecan pie
Last baked: raspberry-peach (hubby now makes most 🤩)
I love all her books and I can’t wait until I read this one! Her characters are funny and her style is delightful! My last pie I had was a lemon meringue pie we had at Christmas time!☕🍰

I love all her books!! I’ve read them all. Chocolate and murder sounds really fabulous to me!! Thank you for hosting this giveaway!!
I love this series. Thanks for a chance to win.
I am so over this series. It use to be my favorite series. Not anymore. The author must think we readers are fools who don’t remember characters from previous books in this series. I never post negative comments, but this is an exception.
I love this series, but I hope they do not go back to the Mike vs. Norman thing.
Joanne Fluke is a great writer. I enjoy her books and I’d like to read this one. My brother loved chocolate cream pie.
**** WINNERS ****
Chocolate Cream Pie Murder are Tari Hann, Sarita, Dianne Casey
Congratulations!
