5:30 am – Get into Hair and Make-up. Really? Why did I agree to appear on the godawful reality TV show, Love or Money? Oh yeah. Life wasn’t going as smoothly as it could.
6:30 am – I’m still not awake yet, and I look unrealistically pretty for this “reality” show.
7:00 am – Time to get on the set. I miss my phone and wish the producers would let me have communication with the outside world.
8:00 am – Still waiting around the set (which happens to be on location at the Golden Gate Bridge) for the crew to finalize things.
9:00 am – Back into hair and make-up even though we haven’t filmed a single scene. The wind on the bridge is fierce. Why does this make-up lady look so familiar? Oh Lord. Is she the same woman I put behind bars before I got canned from SFPD?
10:00 am – Ah! The men for first date have arrived. Yippee. Time to get the show on the road.
11:00 am – Disaster strikes. . .
You can read more about Georgia in A First Date With Death, the first book in the NEW “Love or Money” mystery series, published by Berkley Prime Crime.
About A First Date With Death
When brokenhearted Georgia Thornton goes looking for romance on reality TV, she has nothing to lose—apart from a good man, a cash prize, and maybe her life. . .
What was Georgia thinking? Sure, some cad ditched her at the altar, but can she really find love on TV? Her best friend—and producer of the reality show Love or Money—thinks so. Ten men. Ten adventure-filled dates. What can go wrong? For starters, a faulty bungee cord that hurls Georgia’s first date into a tragic spiral of the Golden Gate Bridge.
He’s replaced by Paul Sanders, Georgia’s former fiancé. But the cop isn’t looking for a TV gig. Suspecting that the lover’s leap was no accident, Paul’s going undercover. When another bachelor gets a fatal kiss-off, the reality is that someone has killer new plans for the show—and for Georgia herself. Now, under the threat of permanent cancellation, Georgia fears that the only man on the set she can trust is the one man she just can’t count on. . .

This sounds great. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.
The Bachelor series just ended. Not everyone’s into it, but I kinda like to see how things turn out. Lots of surprises and silliness, but hey it works sometimes. While I don’t read romance novels, It is fun to see how others’ relationships develop.
In my younger days, I had 7 first dates in one week. That cured me.
I do love my cozies and yes, the cover is great.
Sounds interesting. Never read any books by this author.
