Dru’s Short Musing:
When two members of the choir die at a rehearsal and one of them is a close friend, the team is on the hunt for a killer.

This story blends friendship and family drama into one cohesive whodunit that I could not put down, quickly becoming a page-turner. When another member is harmed, outside antagonist seems to play a part in what is going on. The author did a great job in staging this mystery with a multi-plot storyline, where the suspects are hiding in plain sight and clues and motives uncovered rears its ugly head as each puzzle piece when completed will reveal the person responsible. The pacing was on par with how well this story was being told and when I thought I had a handle of who was doing what to whom, the author changed direction with strategically placed twists that enhanced my reading pleasure. Meg and her friends are a hoot and I like their diversity of who they are, and I especially enjoy their banter. Overall, this was an enjoyable read, and I hope there are more adventures with Meg, Barbara, Edna, Liz, and Stefan.
