This was a fun read with Avery trying to solve a decades-old mystery and prepare her house for the Christmas tour. Do they correlate, you betcha and I loved how both events played out with Avery being the as inquisitive as she’s ever been. The mystery was very intriguing because I had to know how it all came about and how it would end. It seemed likely who the suspects were, but the author did a great job with some surprising twists that I didn’t see coming. Nicely done. I’m glad that being married hasn’t dampened Avery’s ability to get involved in a murder mystery. Again, a great read and I can’t wait to see what exciting adventures Avery and Derek will get into next.
