You can read about J.J. in Marinating In Murder, the third book in the “Dinner Club” mystery series. The first book in the series is Toasting Up Trouble.
The third in a delicious series featuring a dinner club that tries out new recipes–while trying to catch a killer
The Culinary Capers Dinner Club is planning a fall picnic for their next meeting. What could be better than sharing delicious food with friends under a beautiful autumn sky? But when club member Alison Malkovich opens the back of her SUV to load in the picnic supplies, she finds a dead body. To make things worse, it’s the body of her ex-husband, and now she’s the prime suspect. Because Alison is a police officer, she is suspended and warned not to do any investigating of her own. That’s not about to stop J.J. and the Culinary Capers gang though. They know that Alison is innocent, and after all, they do have some experience solving crimes.

All comments are welcomed.
This sounds like a fun book-well other than the ex-hubby’s death of course. Love the cover.
My favorite dessert-so many to choose from! Well I have to say the top three are a chocolate pecan torte with chocolate ganache and some fresh whipped cream. Or it could be white cake with white icing. Another favorite is Baumkuchen with chocolate fudge icing and fresh strawberries. All yummy!
Love all the mentions of chocolate, Barbara. Thanks for commenting.
I thoroughly enjoy every book you have written, so obviously am anxious to read this one! Asa far as desserts go, since I’ve been a Type I diabetic for overr 50 years, I don’t often indulge much. However,’my very favorite is Rhubarb Custard Pie, which my Mom made every year for my Dad on Father’s Day until he passed away a few years ago. I’ll see you at Malice! 😃
So many people enjoy rhubarb in any dessert, Jan. Thanks for your kind comments. Looking forward to seeing you at Malice.
Favorite dessert is a cheesecake….plain cheesecake……
Thank you for the giveaway…..
Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Oooooo! A signed copy is very special. I would love to win this one.
Glad you’ve entered the draw, Amy.
I have Toasting Up Trouble on my night stand now. Would love to add this one with it. Thank you so much for the chance.
Hope you enjoy TOASTING, Paula!
My favorite dessert would have to be chocolate cake. Really anything chocolate works 🙂 Thank you for the chance to win!
Chocolate! Yes!
Most of the year it would be anything with chocolate. But my all time favorite dessert is Key Lime Pie. I can’t find it at any of the local bakeries so I have to beg an adopted son to make me one whenever he can. He’s a C.I.A. trained baker.
I have a baker in the family, also. She lives too far away though but those close to her are very, very happy eaters!
Other than ice cream, my favorite dessert would have to be lemon meringue pie – I get it once a year!
That was my Mom’s favorite, also!
Wonderful cozy which I would enjoy. My favorite dessert is a chocolate mousse.
I love Pecan Pie and Cheesecake! Thank you for the chance to win a copy of this cozy.

Great cover and I love the idea of a dinner club solving murders. My favorite dessert is white cake with lemon filling and cream cheese frosting. YUM! Thanks for the chance to win.
Thanks for commenting, Autumn. Great dessert suggestion.
My favorite dessert of all time is slice of flourless chocolate cake served on a drizzle of raspberry sauce with a finger of whipped cream along the side. Best with a very good cup of coffee.
Oh, totally agree about the coffee, too.
Gosh. I have to pick just one? I do like cake, particularly spice cake or red velvet. When I was a kid my very favorite-est was strawberry shortcake. But anything tart with limes or lemons is a winner.
Strawberry shortcake was a brings back a lot of childhood taste memories. Thanks, Pat.
My favorite dessert is any & all of them! I never discriminate when it comes to dessert! LOL

How can one pick a favorite dessert??? There are so many—lemon pie is one of my faves—so is baklava.
There is nothing like reading a good cozy mystery, but one with food involved & new recipes to try…double whammy! My favorite dessert is cherry pie, just plain ole pie…homemade crust…no ice cream needed…no sugar sprinkled on top…just plain pie!
