I enjoy a good mystery and this book sounds perfect.
Have been waiting for this one. Russ and Clare are some of the most unusual and complex characters in the mystery world. This series and Deborah Crombie’s Scotland Yard mysteries are the high water mark of mysteries to me.
I have been waiting for this book since turning the last page of “One Was A Soldier”. Complex relationships; an Episcopal dilemma; and a small town with more murders than usual. What couldn’t be better.

I just finished reading all seven books again to get me ready for number 8. Every time I think of them I grab them in sequence and read them again. This is about six times I have done this and love doing it. I know eight is due out, now what is going on with nine. Keep them coming as they are really interesting and easy to follow. LOVE THEM ALL.
