I love the plots and the quirky characters.
Oh, by far, anything from Diane Kelly is a first pick every time!
They make you feel like a family. They are cozy and homey and gorey
I like the characters and the variety of settings
Close-knit characters and the settings.
For me, quirky recurring characters are icing on the cake of cozy mysteries
I love that most cozies are a series so I get to watch the characters grow and develop. You feel as if you know them. Also love the small town settings.
Close knit communities
I love seeing amateur sleuths outwit law enforcement.
I love the fact that they are just plain fun, and I know my favorite character won’t get killed! (Although several other people might.)
They’re fun and sweet. Nothing too heavy or deep.
Love this series!
They are fun and always keep you guessing!
I love everything about cozies! From the quirky characters to the relationships between them, the puzzles and mysteries, the humor, and the puns. I love learning new things about the book’s “hook”—baking, knitting, sewing, Amish candy making. From the culinary to the bookish to the paranormal, I adore cozies.
Light reading!
I love that they are a series. You get to watch the characters grow and develop. Small town settings are wonderful.
I love to read Cozies – they are fun to read, try to guess the guilty parties without bad language. They are my favorite classification and the only ones I read at the present time.
I like that they are clean and not gorey. I like the relationships between the characters and the puzzle to solve.
They sound like really interesting books.
I love the mysteries, the characters, and pets. Love a great cover! Love series as I feel like I am part of the community.
I like the characters, usually at least one kinda quirky. And I like the comradery of the characters. And I like the mystery, or the puzzle, the sleuth has to solve. And it’s clean, not graphic in words, deeds, or violence.

It’s usually the small details that I love about things and places I’m interested in. I always learn something about a place, or a hobby, or a profession when I read these type of books. They make me feel happy!
No gore for death— fun feisty characters
