What is your profession?
Producer of “Under Suspicion,” a news-based reality show that reenacts and reinvestigates cold cases.

Do you have a significant other?
About to marry my fiancé.

What is their name and profession?
Alex Buckley. We met when he was the host of the TV show, but he was recently confirmed as a federal district court judge.

Do you have any children?
Yes, my ten year old son, Timmy. He witnessed his father’s murder when he was a toddler, and the case remained unsolved for five years. Despite the trauma, he’s the sweetest, funniest kid. 

Do you have any siblings?
No.

Are your parents nearby?
My mother, Eileen Keagan Farley, has passed. But my father, Leo, lives nearby and helped me raise Timmy after Greg was killed.

Who is your best friend?
Is it cheesy to say my son? If not, I’d say Charlotte Pierce, who runs a women’s athletic gear brand. We met on one of my productions, but became fast friends.

Do you have any pets?
No, but Timmy keeps asking for a puppy. I suspect his campaign will be successful.

What town do you live in?
Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Do you live in a small town or a big city?
Oh, it’s a big city.

Type of dwelling and do you own or rent?
I own the apartment where I raised Timmy, but am in the process of selling it to move into the apartment that Alex and I bought after our engagement.

What is your favorite spot in your home?
The dining room. Just as my parents raised me, I do my best to have dinner with Timmy at the table. Granted, I’m rarely able to cook the kinds of meals my mother prepared, but even when it’s a bag of carryout, dinner is the time when Timmy and I put away our screens, turn off the outside noise, and focus on each other.

Favorite meal and dessert?
I eat anything and everything, but do love sushi and ice cream. Not at the same time.

Do you have any hobbies?
I’m an avid reader (love mystery novels), but between my job and family, there’s not much extra time. If going out to eat counts as a hobby, I’ll add that.

What is your favorite vacation spot?
I’m about to go on a honeymoon through Italy, so right now, that’s my favorite dream spot.

What music do you listen to?
Fairly standard pop/rock fare, but I like the oldies more than the average person.

Do you have a favorite book?
I can’t possibly pick one.

If you were to write a memoir, what would you call it?
*** Second chances *** My work gives crime victims a second chance at justice after a case has gone cold. It gives those who have lived under suspicion a second chance to clear their names. And I have been given a second chance at true love with Alex.

Amateur or professional sleuth and whom do you work with?
Am I somewhere in between? I’m not law enforcement, but my job is sleuth-y. I work with my assistant producer, Jerry Klein, and my assistant, Grace Garcia. They’re my work family. Also in the mix are Brett Young (my micro-managing boss) and Ryan Nichols (the host Brett hired to replace Alex).

In a few sentences, what is a typical day in your life like?
There’s no such thing as typical in my days!
