Hey there!

This is Molly Stewart, checking in from my Fabulous Felines Salon mobile cat grooming van. Today, I worked on twin sphynx cats who live with their octogenarian human moms. Those ladies and their furless babies are always a treat! Lately, I’ve been super busy taking care of Whitewater Valley’s furry felines, but just when I thought I couldn’t squeeze one more task into a day, another murder was committed in town!

Everyone here is in shock. Who could have guessed there’d be two murderers roaming around? Of course, the first killer was caught after the crime. But now a woman who, unfortunately, nobody liked, ended up dead on my friend Evan’s photography studio floor. The poor guy is beside himself trying to figure out who could have done the deed.

I’m helping, of course, along with my cats, Percival and Jasper. But Evan also has help from my assistant, Veronica, my love interest, Hank, and my BFF, Jillian—who, by the way, has a serious dose of romantic interest in Evan.

This whole fiasco started when I stopped by to see Evan. He’d taken some adorable photos— he’s so talented—of some of my feline clients. But that immediately got sidetracked when I walked in and found a body on the floor, and Evan in such a terrible state that I had to help him stand upright.

Our local police, Sheriff King, who’d scolded me after my involvement in the previous murder and had warned me to mind my own business, is once again cautioning me to stay away. I’ll listen this time as much as I did the last. Which was not at all!

I stuck with it even when my cats and I received threats. That ominous phone call only pushed me to search harder for the truth and to figure out the puzzle of who might have killed the woman in Evan’s studio. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s not to give up when fighting for what’s right.

Well, I better go. Cats to groom. Murderers to catch!

See you all later,

Molly
