Hey, everyone!

Molly Stewart here. I’ve been super busy brushing and bathing cats, making them even more gorgeous, if that’s even possible. I love my job and driving from house to house in my mobile cat grooming van to check on my fluffy clients.

But using my van also has another advantage. It makes it more convenient for me to check out clues when a murder has been committed in our little town of Whitewater Valley, Indiana.

Yep, that’s right. Another murder has been committed here. That makes three!

This time, the body of Carlotta Sykes was found lying between the houses of two of my furry clients, sister Sphynx cats – Helga and Eleanor, who live with their human moms, Florence and Lottie.

As I often do, I had my own two cats, Percival and Jasper, with me when I visited the Sphynx kitties, so when the four of them took off running toward the grassy area between the ladies’ houses, I knew something was up.

The very recently deceased was a woman who had lots of enemies, but for some reason Florence and Lottie, now in their eighties, are the ones the sheriff thinks are guilty. The poor ladies are frantic!

My cats are on the case for the murder. Well, they’re assisting me with my personal investigation. But don’t tell them they aren’t in charge, because they think they are.

Jillian, my best friend, Hank, my boyfriend, and Veronica, my assistant, are also helping me figure out clues along the way, as we narrow down which of Carlotta’s enemies might have stabbed her with the tiny nail file I found stuck in her neck.

As well as finding out who the real killer is, I need to get my octogenarian friends off the hook for this murder. How would they celebrate their afternoon adult beverage time if they were in jail?

Well, I better go. Percival and Jasper are giving me the stink-eye, which either means they want fed or… Oh no, surely they didn’t find another body!

Talk to you all later!

Molly

When two of Cat Groomer Molly Stewart’s pet parents are framed for murder, Molly will stop at nothing to keep her octogenarian friends out of jail. The fact that the body was discovered between Florence and Lottie’s houses doesn’t bode well for the ladies, or the fact that their Sphynx cats were way too interested in pawing at the body when it was discovered. Although Molly is ready to pounce on the real killer, will she be able to help them, or has the ladies’ continual gossip and spying on others finally landed them in hot water?
