Dru’s Short Musing:
This is one of my favorite series that should be more known. In the latest adventures with Madeline, the author wove an intrinsically solid mystery that I could not put down, quickly becoming a page-turner as I needed to know who was doing what to whom. This whodunit had a comfortable tone, making it easy to follow along with what the author had intended. The duo storyline was done nicely and the mystery of it all kept me immersed in all that was happening. With visually descriptive narrative, I was able to place myself in the middle of all the action and stand alongside Madeline as she tried to figure it all out. There were a few surprises that enhanced my reading enjoyment. Did the one mystery play on the other? You’ll have to take a gander at this wonderful tale and series. A terrific read and I look forward to more good times with Madeline and her friends.
