Julie goes back to her hometown in search of the dead body of a murder victim and faces her demons. I love how the author set this up with a multi-plot scenario. Did she or not? What happened in the bar that weigh heavily on her mind? Will she find the missing body? It becomes complicated when a person with psychic abilities tries to hone in on her business. Who really murdered Alice? There were a few surprises in store as Julie searches for clues. The author did a great job in keeping me intrigued and immersed in all that was happening. When I thought I had a handle on who was involved, the author changed direction all to enhanced my reading pleasure. And that strategically placed twist when it all came together, brilliant. This is one of my favorite series and this book, was the best of the bunch and I’m going to miss them.
