Dru’s Musing:
This was an intriguing mystery that I could not put down because I had to know how this drama was going to end. With a multiple story-line, the author did a good job in staging this with an introduction to the characters that had pivotal roles; a murder plot that kept me in suspense as to the how’s and why’s; the suspect pool and the path to who had the stronger motive; Violet’s search for clues and a few red herrings tossed in to up the game; and the setting and atmosphere which added to how well this story was being told. I liked how the author gave voice to the killer with teasing snippets. Also featured in this tale were culinary delights that begged to be prepared. Overall, this was a good read.
FTC Full Disclosure – I received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) from the author.
Sounds like a fun and interesting book and I’m hoping to read it soon. All books involving food in any way is a big lure to me. Congratulations to the author!
Thanks! And thanks for the rave review, Dru!
