Dru’s Short Musing:
This is one of my favorite series and it is always an adventure when Alex is investigating a local crime.
This was a well-written and fast-paced whodunit that I could not put down. The mystery was nicely executed and kept me immersed in all aspects. With Alex, Rick, Adam leading the way, I enjoyed watching them ferret out the clues as one by one, the pool of suspects got shorter. The dialogue was engaging and with visually descriptive narrative, I felt like I was part of the non-stop action. It was also nice to see the growth of Alex as she enters her teenage year and will be welcoming her new baby brother. Overall, this was delightfully entertaining and I look forward to more adventures with Rick, Alex and their friends.
FTC Full Disclosure – I received a digital ARC of this book from the author.
