After the death of her friend, Mia looks for clues in case that appears to be more than murder.
The author did a great job in staging this whodunit with a well-written and fast-paced mystery that I could not put down until all was said and done. The drama had plenty of suspects and clues were sprinkled throughout for Mia to dig up and piece together. The narrative was visually descriptive, and I felt I was part of the non-stop action as Mia and her friends sought the identity of the perpetrators. There were several twists and turns, especially when I thought I knew who was behind the caper, and yet once the author changed directions it became clear that a better story and motive lay with another suspect. Overall, a terrific start to this new series.
