Dru’s Short Musing:
When she finds her ex-husband’s dead body, Mel has some serious questions and finds it is hard to get the answer from the appropriate people. So, she keeps asking and piece by piece she learns what her ex-husband was involved in which caused his early demise.

I like how the author presented this tale with an intriguing mystery that I could not put down until all was said and done. In this drama filled with mischief and mayhem, we have the victim, the suspects, an assortment of clues and a sleuth determined to solve this puzzling murder, even when thwarted by others. I like the pacing and the comfortable tone which made it easy to follow along with what the author intended. There were a few red herrings tossed in to keep me in the game and the more the story moved forward, the suspect pool narrowed down, and it was the final nail in the coffin that I knew who was behind it all and I enjoyed watching it all play out. I also enjoyed the blossoming relationship between two of the characters. Overall, this was a great read and I look forward to more adventures with Mel and her friends.
