I enjoyed the latest book in this series.
The mystery was nicely done, and it was fun to follow along with Kate as she gathered the necessary clues. I liked how the author led us one way and then change directions with red herrings that implicated another, but the clues kept coming and kept me guessing until the pieces fell into place. I also enjoyed the tidbits of veterinary tips and how to care of animals, as well as the witty banter and humor throughout. Overall, a quick and easy read and pleasantly appealing.
