Dru’s Short Musing:
Johanna once again finds that genealogy leads to nefarious misdeeds.

This was a well-crafted drama that was hard to put down. There was a lot going on with the various cast that were coming in and out of the storyline, but when murder strikes, the author pulled out all the stops to tell an exciting mystery that kept me immersed in all from the visually descriptive narrative, engaging dialogue, and the interaction between Johanna and the people that she encountered. I liked the tone and how well the pieces fell into place as the story moved towards its conclusion where the accelerated pacing snuck up on me, and I couldn’t stop until all was said and done. Overall, this was an enjoyable read.
