This is one of those books that is slow and steady that pulls you in and all you want to do is find out what happens next. In this latest adventure, Kathy and Tori find a body and in an unusual twist, they are not immediately inquisitive but interest does spark when they find out that his past action may have led to his demise and it’s all they can do to investigate who had a stronger motive to kill him.

The author did a great job in staging this mystery where the suspect list was small, but it was the information gleamed that narrowed the suspect list to where only one person could have done the deed. I like the writing style which was crisp and clear making it easy to follow along with the visually descriptive narrative. The dialogue was engaging and kept me in tuned to all that was going on. Everyone played a pivotal role that enhanced how well this story was being told. This was an enjoyable whodunit that satisfied my reading pleasure and I was happy with some of the resolutions regarding the girl’s future. I look forward to the next book in this delightfully appealing series.
