I love this series and this time around Tulia needs Mac help in figuring out who killed Annette, the motive and why her place was where the body was found. You’ll have to read this book for the answers.
This was a well-written, fast-paced, and action-packed whodunit that quickly became a page-turner as I had to know who was doing what to whom. The mystery was nicely executed with a good sample of suspects and clues were aplenty, you just had to fit the pieces together to solve this puzzling case. All the cast were present from Mac to Tim to her parents to Tulia to Gin to the rest of the crew adding their voices to the visually descriptive narrative. My favorite character, Cokey was present and even she had a small role in the mystery. This was a fun read and I’m so happy there are more stories to be told in this delightfully charming series.
I adore every series of Edith/Maddie’s and I’m truly looking forward to getting this book very soon!
