This is one of those books you pick up and can’t stop reading because you need to know how things are going to end. And kudos to the author for writing a story where the action builds and then BAM, our heroine is thrust into a murder mystery where the evidence is stacked against her and she’ll need to use her con artist talents to clear her name. Once the murder took place, I was immersed in all aspects as the pacing picked up as the author intended with revelations that would lead to some surprising twists and turns that elevated how well this story was being told. All in all, this was a solid story and I look forward to the next book in the debut series.
