Something old, new, and borrowed, but no one mentioned murder as a wedding tradition.

This was a fast paced and well-executed whodunit that I could not put down, quickly becoming a page-turner. Leila’s BFF is getting married and the only thing that could stop it – the murder of her Aunt Monica. Begging Leila’s help, they both investigate, and all sorts of information are uncovered in this tightly woven multi-plot drama where the mystery kept me intrigued throughout as well as the complicated family drama. The author did a great job of pulling it all together and I enjoyed the interaction among the characters and the engaging dialogue. When I thought I had a handle on the person responsible, the author changed direction with a few strategic twists to enhance my reading pleasure. Overall, this was a terrific read and I look forward to new adventures with Leila and her friends.
