Dru’s Short Musing:
This is another great addition to the Cait Morgan series. Bud’s friend invites them to his London place and moments later, someone dies. Was it murder? Well once Cait gets a handle on things it becomes even more of a case, and I enjoyed watching it all play out. The author knows how to tell a story that was both gripping and riveting. The mystery kept me in suspense, and I love how the author had me twisted all around trying to figure out who is doing what to whom. As the story progressed, we learn a few things about Cait’s past as well as the pool of suspects who all had a motive or two of seeing the victim’s demise. When all was said and done, it was the devilish and wicked motive that laid claim to the killer’s identity and that I did not see coming. A great job done by the author in one of the best book in this endearingly enticing series.
