Dru’s Short Musing:
I have been waiting for the return of Sabrina Salter and I’m so happy to read her latest adventure.

This was a fast-paced drama that quickly became a page turner as I could not put the book down until all was said and done. Once again, Sabrina finds a dead body and when her BFF becomes the prime suspect, Sabrina can’t help but look for others who have a stronger motive in this intriguing and suspenseful tale. The mystery was nicely executed with suspects hiding in plain sight and clues that gave us enough of a back history to keep me in the game and it was fun watching it all play out, especially with the arrival of her grandmother and her relationship woes with Neil. The narrative was visually descriptive, and I felt the tension of the murder, the approaching hurricane, and the conversation that was yet to come. Overall, this was the best book in this endearing series and I hope there are more adventures in store for Salty and her friends.
