Mischief and mayhem await our protagonist on a cruise that leads to murder. When Charlotte’s nephew’s bride is murdered, he becomes the prime suspect and his aunts (Char and Jane) begin an investigation to clear his name on a cruise ship where the murderer is roaming free.
This was a fast-paced and well written whodunit that had me completely immersed in all aspects, quickly becoming a page-turner. The author knows how to tell a story that pulls you in immediately and all you can do is follow along until the last page has been read. The mystery was nicely staged with a lock-room cruise ship, a slew of suspects, clues and a few twists and turns that kept me in the game. With visually descriptive narrative and engaging dialogue, the author put me in the middle of all the action with a varied cast of characters and situations that befell our protagonist. Overall, this is an excellent read and a welcome addition to the cozy genre.
