I really enjoy this latest book featuring Veronica Walsh. This time she comes out of acting retirement only to have to use her new amateur sleuthing skills when the director of the community play she is in is found dead. With a nod from the local police, Veronica’s role is vital in the apprehension of a murderer.

I love the pacing and the comfortable tone of this lighthearted mystery that quickly became a page turner. The mystery was nicely done keeping me in suspense as suspect after suspect were brought to light with their motive for killing Gigi. I liked how the author set the stage for the cast and crew that helped in siphoning off the clues one by one so that the only person left standing, was the killer. The author did a great job in presenting this drama with many of the characters playing pivotal roles that enhanced the telling of this tale. This was a wonderful story and I look forward to more adventures with Veronica and her friends in this pleasantly appealing series.
