Dru’s Short Musing:
I enjoyed the first book in this debut series.

The pacing was nice, and I liked the comfortable tone that made it easy to follow along. I also liked the fact that Emma had a good relationship with the police, which helped in her search for clues. There were a few twists and turns that kept me in the game, and I especially like that big one when it was apparent who the killer was. Good job. Boasting an eclectic cast of characters and engaging dialogue, this was a fun book and I look forward to more adventures with Emma and her friends.

    I just finished reading this book today! It was fun. Yes, agreed about the big twist near the end when we find out for sure whodunit!
