But Darcy’s dream wedding is threatened when the Divinitea Cottage, the tea room hosting her bridal luncheon, goes up in flames, revealing the strangled body of the owner, Leyna Noble.

Making vows to solve the crime without delaying the nuptials, Darcy focuses on her prime suspect, and number one nemesis, wicked witch Dorothy Hansel Dewitt, a notorious firebug. But when a psychic vanishes without a trace, Darcy’s investigation shifts to Leyna’s mysteriously bewitching past. Darcy must sort through mystical claims and old, vengeful grudges to find a killer before she is forced to forever hold her peace.

So many things on Darcy’s plate that has to be solved before her upcoming wedding to Nick Sawyer. Will Harper believe? What about her mother? Will mayhem strike? And who murdered Leyna Noble? You’ll find the answers to these question in this delightfully engaging tale where Darcy has to contend with a secret if exposed can cause harm by the nefarious dealings of Dorothy.

This was a cleverly written whodunit that had me completely immersed in all that was happening. The author did a great job in staging a mystery that kept me intrigued as I began to wonder who was behind the murder. The obvious person was too obvious but something is afoot and the visually descriptive narrative had me right here in the middle of all the action as Darcy contends with the case, the wedding and the mysterious goings on with the Coven. I could not read this fast enough because the payoff was at the end of the book and what a big payoff for this reader. And the secret – put a big smile on my face as everything came together for the special residents of The Enchanted Village. I will miss the adventures of Darcy Merriweather Sawyer and her friends. This is the best and my favorite book in this terrific series.
