Samantha Reynolds first appeared in Deadly Wipeout and one of the best ways to learn about a person is by asking questions, so let’s get to know Sam.

Samantha Jane Reynolds.

How old are you?
27

What is your profession?
Children’s surf instructor at the Aloha Lagoon Resort.

Do you have a significant other?
Yes.

What is his name and profession?
Casey Dalton. He’s the head bartender at The Lava Pot, the tiki bar at the resort.

Oh geez, that’s a scary thought. No!

Do you have any sibling(s)?
Yes, I have a twin brother Luke.

Do your parents live near you?
Very near! I live at home with mum, lol.

Who is your best friend?
Alani Alapai. She owns Lehela’s Surf, the best surf shop in the area.

Cats, dogs or other pets?
None, but I’m particularly fond of our neighbor’s canary. 🙂

What town do you live in?
Aloha Lagoon.

House or building complex? Own or Rent?
It’s a house and technically the bank own a good portion of it as Mum has a pretty big mortgage.

What is your favorite spot in your house?
The back lanai. It overlooks the garden and the scent of the frangipani’s fill me with happiness.

Favorite meal? Favorite dessert?
Well Luke is a chef, so pretty much everything he cooks is amazing. I also love to eat, but if I have to choose his pizza is the BEST!

Favorite hobby?
Surfing. Sitting on my board waiting for the perfect wave is both exhilarating and calming at the same time. Other than being with Casey, it’s where I find the most peace.

Favorite color?
Pink – I’m such a girl. 🙂

Favorite author?
Gemma Halliday.

Favorite vacation spot?
I haven’t travelled that much yet, but if I could afford it, I’d definitely stay at the Aloha Lagoon Resort. It’s beyond beautiful!

Favorite sports team?
I don’t really follow sports teams that much, but my favorite surfer is Kelly Slater. He’s an awesome surfer and good looking. Win win! 🙂

Movies or Broadway?
Movies.

Are you a morning or a night person?
Night. I love being up for the sunrise, but the problem is I hate getting up for sunrise.

Amateur sleuth or professional?
Amateur, but maybe I should consider changing careers. . .actually no. Best stick to surfing. 🙂

Whom do you work with when sleuthing?
It depends. Sometimes it’s my bff Alani, sometimes it’s my boyfriend Casey, and sometimes my brother Luke. Often all three of us work together. It’s heaps of fun!

In a few sentences, what is a typical day in your life like?
If it’s a work day (and it often is) I get to work and set up the boards, ready for my first lesson. If I can get up early enough (often I don’t) that will leave me with time to have a surf. After work, I’ll hang out with my friends and Casey. The beach is high on things we like to do. I love it! However, my routine is often messed up because I have a bad habit of finding dead bodies. Seriously, it’s not like I want to, but try telling Detective Ray Kahoalani that!
