– – I organize garage sales for a living.

– – It’s complicated!

– – Also complicated!

– – Sadly, no. I’ve always wanted them.

Cats, dogs or other pets?
– – I cuddle my landlady’s cat Tux whenever I can.

What town do you live in?
– – I live in the beautiful town of Ellington, Massachusetts.

Do you rent or own?
– – Right now I rent, but I hope to own something someday soon.

House or building complex?
– – It’s an apartment in a converted house with four units.

What is your favorite spot in your house?
– – I love to sit in my grandmother’s rocking chair by the window that overlooks the town common.

Who is your best friend?
– – Carol Carson and Stella Wild – I’d be lost without them!

Amateur sleuth or professional?
– – Total amateur. Sigh.

Who do you work with when sleuthing?
– – I’m often on my own. But if I need help I call Carol or Stella.

Favorite meal?
– – Pizza from DiNapoli’s Roast Beef and Pizza. Or a Fluffernutter sandwich.

Favorite dessert?
– – Any Italian pastry! Bring them on!

Favorite hobby?
– – Hunting for bargains at garage sales, flea markets, and antique stores.

Favorite vacation spot?
– – I love going to the coast of Maine. It reminds me of where I grew up in Pacific Grove, California.

– – Blue

Favorite author?
– – Oh, that’s a tough one because I love to read. I’ll go with Julia Spencer-Fleming.

Favorite sports team?
– – The Boston Red Sox

Movies or Broadway?
– – I love movies and usually can’t afford Broadway.

Are you a morning or a night person?
– – Since I’m in the garage sale business I’ve become a morning person. But I love a good sleep in on my days off.

In two to three sentences, what is a typical day in your life like?
– – If it’s a Saturday, I’m up early getting ready for a garage sale. I have to post signs and then head over to my client’s house to put the finishing touches on the sale. Then I spend the day bargaining and making sure no one steals anything. When it’s all over I take a nap before heading over to DiNapoli’s for dinner.
