All Murders Final!I’m Stella Wild and to tell you the truth, a day in my life would probably bore you to death. That is until Sarah Winston moved into the empty apartment in the old house I converted to a four-plex. Pre-Sarah I taught voice at Berklee College of Music in Boston, loved karaoke, gave private voice lessons, oh, yeah, and I had terrible taste in men. I guess even post-Sarah I still do all those things but having her around has changed my life a lot.

Sarah showed up one day last winter asking to rent my vacant one bedroom. I’ve seen basset hounds with perkier faces but she was in the middle of a divorce so I couldn’t blame her. She didn’t get out much at first, and when she did it was to go to garage sales or flea markets. Not exactly my cup of scotch. But things got interesting when she found evidence that her ex-husband, our new police chief, had been involved in a murder. Sarah didn’t believe it, and as she set out to find the real killer our friendship was born.

It’s odd that a murder brought us together. And there have been more since then. Good thing I trust Sarah. In her latest adventure I meet a new man in a most unusual way. If things work out between us (I hope they do) we’ll have the best “how we met” story ever. Sarah’s part of that story, in fact if it hadn’t been for her, I would have been sitting at home drinking a scotch that night, and practicing an aria for an upcoming faculty recital.

But Sarah’s worried because my new guy and I don’t have a lot in common. My life revolves around music and he barely knows what rhythm and blues means, and he’s never been to an opera. Even worse he’s a Yankees fan living in Red Sox nation. But I can look over a few flaws right? I gave Sarah the benefit of the doubt when half the town thought she murdered someone.

And that’s why Sarah puts up with me when I do things she doesn’t like. Even when I let a dangerous man who needed a place to hide out move into the empty apartment next to hers. Ellington, Massachusetts is a small town and when someone asks you to do a favor you do it.

Speaking of favors, Sarah finds one of Ellington’s most beloved citizens murdered. She has her hands full figuring out who was mad enough to kill this woman over a favor owed. And man, did a lot of people in Ellington owe her something — me included.

I do have a bit of advice, don’t go for a walk with Sarah on a snowy winter night because you never know what might happen. It could be love. . .or murder.

All Murders Final! is the third book in the Sarah Winston Garage Sale mystery series, published by Kensington, April 2016.

Her Next Sale
When Sarah Winston started the virtual garage sale, it seemed like a keystroke of genius and the next logical step in her business. No more collapsing card tables and rainy-day washouts. But what began as a fun way to run garage sales during the long New England winter has become a nightmare of managing people and putting out fires. Online, she can avoid the crowds–but not the crazies.

May Be Her Last
She certainly never bargained on dealing with frightening threats. And when a client is murdered, it’s time for Sarah to swallow her pride and seek the help of her ex–C.J. Hooker, chief of police. Forging a tense alliance, they search–online and off–for the killer. But solving this crime before someone else gets tagged seems virtually impossible. . .
