That’s one of the things I love about my work. There is no “typical” day. Sometimes, I get up, shower, make coffee, and then head to the office to deal with the unending paperwork as well as doing all the work involved with investigating various crimes. During a homicide case, I often stay up for 24 hours at a time, while the case is still hot. But every case is different. There is no “typical” crime.
