Finding a dead body on her property has Amber reluctantly looking for answers.
I was completely immersed in this solid mystery that I could not put down until all was said and done. The author did a great job in staging this drama with a core group of people that got intense the more the story moved forward. There were a few red herrings that kept me in the game and when I thought I had a handle on who was doing what to whom, another strategically placed twist changed the directions I was looking at, and wow what a difference that twist made to my enjoyment of this tale. Overall, a terrific read.
