Hello there! We’re the Winter twins, Candi and Mandi. Yes, we often speak at the same time but we do have very different personalities.
Candi: I’m the casual one. I love animals and have been going to college to become a veterinarian. Everyone tells me I’ve never met a stranger.
Mandi: That’s true. She’s the extrovert and I’m more introverted. I love computers and marketing. I have a BS in business management with a second major in both computer science and marketing. Yes, I’m an over-achiever.
Candi: {snort} That’s putting it mildly. We came to Holiday Corner to visit our grandparents, Catherine and Randall Winter. They run a sleigh business.
Mandi: It’s more than a sleigh business, Candi. They also do carriage rides when there’s no snow, and hayrides in the fall.
Candi: Picky, picky. So, back to our grandparents. They’re slowing down just when business is picking up. Our parents are off galivanting around the globe so they couldn’t help.
Mandi: {clears throat} Our parents are off helping to improve the world by volunteering with Global Vols.
Candi: {shrugs} Yup, global do-gooders.
Mandi: {sighs} Sisters!
Candi: What? Back to our visit. The day we arrive, there is an animal protest going on at Gram and Gramps farm. Some local wingnut thinks they’re abusing their horses. I set him straight.
Mandi: It gets worse from there. A dead body is found in one of the sleighs. And. . .
Candi: The local sheriff thinks I did it!
