Why do you write the genre that you write?
I love puzzles and mysteries, but I hate gore lol. Cozy mysteries are a perfect balance 🙂

How did you come up with your pseudonym?
Elizabeth is my middle name and I’ve always liked Beth, so I shortened it.

Tell us how you got into writing?
Due to personal reasons, I was home without a job and a lot of time on my hands. I’d grown up listening to my mum tell me stories of how she grew up in the war and I knew that those stories needed to be written down. However, as soon as I started writing a fiction story came to me, completely obsessing me until Lizzie’s story was told.

What jobs have you held before, during and/or after you’ve became a writer?
Before I was a writer, I spent a lot of my career in admin. However, I’ve had a few varying jobs including being a driving instructor, working for a television station and doing parcel delivery for the post office.

Where do you write?
In my office. I love writing at the beach, but more often than not the sound of the waves sends me to sleep. Hahaha

What is your favorite deadline snack?
Anything sugar!

What is next for you?
I’m working on a brand new series! I can’t give any details yet other than it’s a cozy mystery, but it has a twist to what is usually seen.

What are you reading now?
I’m reading Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Wealthy Widow by Gemma Halliday, Murder Most Fancy by Kellie McCourt, and Pumpkins, Pies and Potions by Polly Holmes.

Where can we find you?

And even more fun . . .

You are stranded on a deserted island. What are your three must-haves?
Being stranded for a short while sounds heavenly! So long as I have good coffee, chocolate and my Kindle 🙂

My bio:
Beth was born in Manchester, England, but after moving backwards and forwards across the world 13 times in 14 years she decided that at the age of 18 that Australia was to be her home. She now lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia where every day is a good one. Her main wish is to write books you can sit back, relax with, and escape from your everyday life. . .and ones that you walk away from with a smile! When she’s not writing you will usually find her at the beach with a coffee in hand, pursuing her favorite pastime—people watching!
