Now it’s time to learn more about the authors we read. . .
What drew you to the genre you write?
Growing-up I loved reading the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Mystery series. Later in life, I loved reading Agatha Christie.
How did you come up with your pseudonym?
I’m old fashioned and wanted a classic name (enjoyed the Hollywood Golden era, Greta Garbo was one of those actresses of the time). Sinclair is after the first American writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature (1930) Sinclair Lewis.
Tell us how you got into writing?
In high school, I took a critical thinking English class that sparked my love of storytelling. The books we read and the lively discussions we shared challenged me to think more deeply and ignited my imagination. That experience planted the seed that eventually grew into my second career.
What jobs have you held before, during and/or after you became a writer?
