Hello y’all. It’s Caro Lamont, pet therapist here. We’ve shared previous adventures in Desperate Housedogs, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, and Fifty Shades of Greyhound. And by sharing adventures, what I mean is I know I can count on you to vouch for me that I truly tried to stay out of those murder investigations. Mostly.
Well, I can say for certain with the latest series of events in Downton Tabby that I do try very hard to stay out of homicide detective Judd Malone’s way, but there’s one minor problem. It involves an adorable Scottish Fold tabby cat.
You see, here’s the deal. My office mate, tech wizard, Graham Cash, left his cat, Toria, with me for a few minutes. Just a few minutes. That’s what he said. When he didn’t come back and I needed to get to my first appointment of the day, I decided to swing by the charming Brit’s Tudor-inspired mansion to return Toria. But what I discovered was his business partner dead and Cash missing.
So I’m left with Toria and a lot of unanswered questions. The police suspect Cash, but I’m sure they’re on the wrong scent. Then there’s this dark SUV following me, pajama-wearing Betty and her new pup, and wannabe investigative reporter, Callum MavAvoy, who seems to be constantly underfoot.
Let’s just say there are more secrets and intrigues than there are titles in England.
You can read more about Caro in Downton Tabby, the 7th book in the “Pampered Pets” mystery series, published by Bell Bridge Books. The first book in the series is Desperate Housedogs.
About Downton Tabby
Anyone for tea and crumpets . . . and murder?Caro Lamont, amateur sleuth and well-respected animal therapist to Laguna Beach’s pampered pets, works with office mate and tech wizard, Graham Cash, whose beloved Scottish Fold tabby cat, Toria, is purported to have anger management issues. But when Caro drops by the charming Brit’s Tudor-inspired mansion to return Toria, she finds his business partner dead and Cash missing.
Caro is left with the cuddly cat and a lot of unanswered questions. Is Cash the killer, or has he been kidnapped? What’s up with the angry next door neighbor? And what about Cash’s girlfriend, Heidi, who isn’t sharing everything she knows with homicide detective Judd Malone?
Suddenly there are more secrets and intrigues than there are titles in England. Add in a stranger in a dark SUV stalking Caro, feisty senior sidekick, Betty, hiding in restaurant shrubbery, and wannabe investigative reporter Callum MacAvoy who seems to be constantly underfoot, and you’ve got a cat and mouse mystery of the first order.
Caro’s got to solve this murder before the killer lets the cat out of the bag.

Time to start a new series!
Ladies, I can’t wait to read this. Fifty Shades of Greyhound was a favorite of mine and my daughter as she has a greyhound that was adopted a year ago so that was a fun book for both of us. Looking forward to getting this and obviously, like everyone else, would love to win a copy. Keep up the great and fun stories.

Cats and novels just go together…this sounds like a great series! I would love to read this newest one by Sparkle Abbey and see how Toria helps her person be exonerated!

Love play-on-words and you two have captured some of the (may I say) cutest ones. I’m a fan of DA and most of the other BBC shows aired here. I look forward to future ones maybe about wolves and department stores. I know you can do it. Tabby is my print choice if I’m selected. Thanks.
