If Youve got it, haunt itMy name is Cookie Chanel and this is a day in my life! I own It’s Vintage Y’all, a vintage clothing boutique in Sugar Creek, Georgia. My day is fairly routine: breakfast, a little bit of yoga—at least I try a little bit, but never said I was great at it—, and then off to work. Some mornings I’m up before the crack of dawn so that I can hit the estate sales looking for a bargain or rare vintage find. Recently at a sale, I found more than clothing, although I might still classify Charlotte Meadows as vintage. She is definitely a thorn in my side. Now she’s hanging around all the time, along with a mysterious cat that now calls my shop home.

When I’m not dealing with visitors from the next dimension, I help customers, organize the garments, write on my vintage clothing blog, drive my 1948 Buick convertible, and hang out with my best friend Heather. Did I mention she owns the occult shop next door to mine? I’m hoping she’ll be able to help me out with my new ghostly visitor.

Lately, a lot of strange things have been going on around Sugar Creek. I’m not sure how I got dragged into this tangled web, but I definitely don’t want to be involved. Vintage fashion is my game, not solving crime. Charlotte thinks I have a natural knack for investigating, but I’d prefer to stick with the vintage goods.

A new detective on the police force has been coming around a lot too. Perhaps my snooping has caught his attention. I’ll just keep my nose out of the investigating and stay focused on the treads. Well, that’s my plan at least, not sure it will work out that easily.
