Dang! Were those gunshots? Oh, hello, didn’t see you there. Guess I should introduce myself. Digger Sharma, half-Indian, half-Irish sleuth and amateur private eye. Like to think of myself as a wisecracking gumshoe, a slumming angel in the City of Angels. Yup, L.A. is my hometown. I’ve been called a cad but loveable nonetheless. I’ve been called a lot worse, too.

My first escapade is called L.A. Hustle and the folks at Indigo River will be publishing the story on May 9, 2023, gawd help ‘em. I took up investigating this case to pay the bills after losing a more lucrative job. I was hired by two clients on seemingly unrelated cases but as I pursued them I realized they were connected and solving one would require solving the other. There’s plenty of danger, shady characters, femmes fatale, and family secrets, as well as a good dose of good old-fashioned violence, with yours truly getting clobbered, slapped, manhandled, insulted, and kissed more than once.

Meet the author
My alter ego, Billie Trager, splits her time between Kennebunk, Maine and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she lives with her two cats, Jeeves and Wooster. Her hobbies include collecting antique furniture and cooking savory meals for her unsavory friends. This is her first novel in the Digger Sharma Mysteries series.
