I love a book whose subplots keeps pace with the main plot intertwined to bring an intriguing and engaging tale that had a comfortable tone and was very pleasing to read. It was great seeing all the continual characters play a role in this mystery where some were even more fleshed out and we got to know a little bit more about them. Once again, Jill takes the lead in trying to piece the murder together playing into the dysfunctional family of the new “kid on the block” which saw murder and other surprising info that enhanced the telling of this story. I did like that Jill put her trust in Greg to keep him informed of her findings. The author did a great job in presenting this drama where I felt I was in the middle of all the action. This was both enjoyable and entertaining and I look forward to more visits with Jill and the gang in South Cove.
