The Diva Serves High Tea by Krista Davis is the 10th book in the “Domestic Diva” mystery series. Publisher: Penguin Random House, June 2016

The Diva Serves High TeaThe New York Times bestselling author of The Diva Steals a Chocolate Kiss serves up a new mystery steeped in murder. . .

When The Parlour opens up in town, domestic diva Sophie Winston finally has a place to satisfy her cravings for all things tea and crumpet related. And the shop serves as the perfect place for the ladies of the town to gather and gossip, especially since it’s conveniently located right across the street from the new antique store run by the handsome and charming Warren Smith.

But speculation around Warren really boils over when he’s found dead—a victim of poisoning after attending a literacy fundraiser at The Parlour the night before. What Sophie learns about the man leaves a bitter taste in her mouth, and she’ll have to strain out a killer from a strange brew of suspects. . .

Only Krista can deliver a diva story that continues to get better and better with each book written in this endearing series. Once again, Sophie becomes embroiled in another murder and yes, her investigation leads her to situations unexpected that kept me riveted to the pages as I had to know how this will all play out. The author does a great job in presenting this mystery with plenty of twists and turns that put me smack dab in the middle of all the action with Sophie as each clue narrowed the field of suspects down to where only one could be the possible killer. I love that the author had all the main cast of characters play pivotal roles in this fast-paced drama, that shows the camaraderie in the search for justice come together. A great read as always, and I would love it if just one of these days Sophie put Natasha in her place.
