A treasure so priceless, it’s worth killing for…When Mark Hawkins is found dead in a seedy motel, police deem it an accidental overdose. But billionaire computer genius Avery Turner suspects there might be more to the story. Her old friend was on the trail of the legendary General’s Gold, and now Avery is determined to pick up where he left off…

Dru’s Short Musing:
The exploits of underwater and above ground treasure hunting converge in a depth-defying mysterious adventure with vivid imaging in this fast pace and action-packed drama that quickly became a page-turner.

When her friend’s body was found, the police assumed one thing, but knowing who her friend was, Avery started an investigation to seek the truth of why her friend was murdered. Meanwhile Carter, who Avery dives with, seeks his own treasures and the plot thickens as to the connection between the two.

The authors did a great job in telling this tale that had me immersed in all aspects from beginning to end. The well-written and visually descriptive narrative with engaging dialogue kept me enthralled in this adrenaline-fueled story. I love how both mysteries were interwoven to create a dynamic drama and as the story moved forward, the chapters flew by where the pacing increased until it reached a crescendo pitch, and I was there for the gripping ride to see who was going to win this race. Bravo to LynDee and Bruce for an excellent collaboration and I can’t wait to see what escapades await Avery and Carter. I do hope we don’t forget Harrison. Love him.
