Hey y’all. My name is Emma Taylor and I live in Paris.
I know what you’re thinking…Paris, France. Alas, no, I’m in Paris, Tennessee. The real Paris was my dream, but I kind of got side-tracked.
See, my Aunt Arabella, who is the coolest aunt on earth and has traveled all over the world, needed help renovating her lingerie shop, Sweet Nothings.
It was totally 1970s vintage with pea green shag carpeting and faded hot pink and orange accents. But, as it turned out, she’d amassed quite a bit of real vintage lingerie—I’m talking 1930s and 1940s. What a wonderful way to distinguish her new shop!
Brian, he’s my best friend Liz’s big brother, helped us with the interior renovations, and the place looks really sharp now—pale pink with black and white toile accents.
Everything was going swimmingly until my ex, Guy Richard, turned up out of the blue. He thought I’d take him back just like that (picture me snapping my fingers) but I was having none of it. Once a cheater, always a cheater my Mama used to say. Besides, I realized that ever since I was a little girl I’ve been in love with Liz’s brother Brian.
Now, whether I can get him to see me as someone other than his little sister’s best friend remains to be seen!
You can read more about Emma in Murder Unmentionable, the first book in the new “Sweet Nothings” mystery series.
** Thanks to the publisher, I have one (1) copy of MURDER UNMENTIONABLE to give away. Contest open to residents of the US only. Contest ends September 8. Leave a valid-email address with your comment. The book will be shipped directly from the publisher. **
Meet the author
Peg grew up in a New Jersey suburb about 25 miles outside of New York City. After college, she moved to the City where she managed an art gallery owned by the son of the artist Henri Matisse.
After her husband died, Peg remarried and her new husband took a job in Grand Rapids, Michigan where they now live (on exile from NJ as she likes to joke). Somehow Peg managed to segue from the art world to marketing and is now the manager of marketing communications for a company that provides services to seniors.
She has two cozy mystery series debuting from Berkley Prime Crime— the Sweet Nothings Vintage Lingerie series, written as Meg London, set in Paris, Tennessee and the Gourmet De-Lite series, under her own name, set in Connecticut. She also has two ebooks on Amazon, a mystery, Confession Is Murder and a young adult book Oh, Brother!
Peg has two daughters, a step-daughter and step-son, a beautiful granddaughter, a cat named Frazzle and a Westhighland white terrier named Reggie. You can read more at www.meglondon.com, on Facebook and at www.pegcochran.com .
Books are available at retail and online booksellers.

Seems like Paris, TN is a strange place to find a vintage lingerie store but maybe it is the best place for one.

Thinking about it, if I look through my dresser drawers, I probably have “vintage” stuff also. I still have nightgowns from the ’60’s and ’70’s when I was mumble mumble pounds thinner. LOL
I think I’d love to win a copy of this book, read it, enjoy it and then add it to my home library.
